The exterior curves are smooth to the touch and you'll get a real wood feel from the Oak grain option. These shafts comes prepared to handle the everyday life of a hookah but they're not waterproof. We recommend spot cleaning for any but never soaking the stem in water.

This shaft is paired with a wooden handle Starbuzz hose that matches your selected wood grain. The new hose port design and heel of the included hose create an easy air-tight seal. We've been able to achieve the same with other hoses while utilizing a mya hose grommet.

The wood Challenger has feature that will aid in cleaning and travel, a removable downstem! If you just scrolled up to look at the picture again we'll assume you saw the diffuser. You did see the diffuser right? It's removable as well but it's one those things we like to use at in office and home because it's super quiet.
