Shisha type doesn't have much to do with cloud size, as long as the shisha is juicy, if it's dry it will not smoke as good! Having a larger base and stem which allows for the holding and passing of more smoke! Go with a handmade hookah, I just recently ordered a regal and em expecting good things!! :)

Hey Matt, smoke cloud size is really more dependent on shisha type and heat management. Moister shishas produce denser clouds. However, some swear by Khalil Mamoon hookahs because they have a wide-bore hose port that allows for more air passage. I, personally, have a Mya Bambino that hits like a champ!
